AVNR - Just wanted to point out, the trade of not holding into the data, even though I thought it would be good. AVNR gapped up to 2.80 pre-market, and now getting sell on the news action. Was very confident that data would be good, but I don’t hold into these events unless 100% sure, and I was not.
SPPI - Bought pre-market at 4.80, sold at 5.30, 5k shares. I knew this FDA event on was a lable change. To me, with SPPI doing big secondaries at higher prices, this was an oversold condition. To catch a knife like this, you got to hold your nose, knowing you cannot get the bottom, (hit 4.71). Took profits on the bounce as it was in fact oversold on the news.
ACOR - First blush, did not like news out of FDA today saying don’t like secondary endpoints, but ACOR defended by two companies, one, saying it should trade higher. So I bought at 20.25 1k shares, small. Stock acting weak, did not move from 20, so I took the small loss. Turned out to be right again, as ACOR stayed weak and hit 19.
AONE - Quick, oversold daytrade from 21.95 to 22.45, 1k, in about two minutes. I knew with weakness yesterday, people would be looking for entry. It also helped, right after I tweeted it, briefing followed again. I sell into briefing mentions, so also took profits near top.
FAS - Wanted to take a shot of short into next bond auction, I thought there was one today, this is an event to look for next time, there was no auction, so covered flat.
