Slow holiday day put still plus 2k on paper and gains.

DRIV long 28.25, 1.5k - bought DRIV premarket with Gene Munster ‘pounded the table’ on the name, but the action looked weak.  Bought in 1.5k at 28.25, pre-market low was around 27.50, and stock did not react to it, at all, so I dumped the shares at 28 for a $300 loss.  Turned out to be absolute right decision to take small loss on shares as DRIV hit 23 and change.  The plan was to rebuy 10 minutes after open, but too many downgrades with low 20’s price target so did not play it again, and missed this chance for trade, but ok with the pass and small loss.

WYNN short 1.5k, 66.30 - shorted Macau king on news government would be putting on restrictions.  In past history, WYNN took a hit on this type of news, but today slow trading day, so went for one point, and I like to cover at .12 and .88 cents levels, so put order in at 65.12 and it hit for 1.8k gain.  It did go lower, was all over the place, ended up happy with the trade and thought.

SOHU swing short 63.20, 1k - Entire sector of china gaming getting hit today, so tried to short near low for swing if closed weak, was up a bit, put stop at entry and taken out breakeven.  SOHU closed a little higher than entry, so will relook for possible swing short position again.   I don’t like to take short positions overnight if not up on name, so usually move stops to break even to protect.

DPTR 30k 1.72 - DPTR doing absolutely nothing for about a month, at high of day, 1.72, saw flood of volume coming in at ask so I hit the ask for 30k on volume call only on 15 minute timeframe.  I said to myself at time of trade if DPTR closes near highs, which it did 1.76 would try for multi-day swing trade into tomorrow based on small cap action of oil and natural gas stocks last few days.  Mental stop tomorrow 1.69, interesting late day volume and looking to sell tomorrow.
